Moody Master Bathroom with a Traditional Touch

Moody and darker doesn’t have to mean gloomy. The goal for this master bathroom was to create a more traditional look with rich colors and character, without making the space feel too heavy.

Burgundy walls and trim adds a touch of drama, bringing a bold personality to the room but without overwhelming the space. To keep things balanced, we used light floor tiles, an off-white ceiling, and a beautiful Taj Mahal quartzite countertop. The beige shower tiles tie everything together and help soften the overall look. It’s a cozy, moody space with just the right mix of contrast and light.

It’s a space with personality. The darker elements add depth, but the lighter finishes help to soften the space.
